AS designs arc fire V2 FRT not being an FRT??

New to the forum, but not to guns, but also new to gun modifying. I've been searching around and can't quite find an answer for the issue i'm having. I bought a AS designs arc fire v2 forced reset trigger for my Smith & Wesson m&p15. Got the trigger installed. Problem is, it works perfect on semi, but FRT let's 1 go and won't reset unless I physically tilt the gun towards the ground then back up level, which it will then fire another round, and now back to square 1, which tells me the small lever in there isn't doing what it's supposed to. Any ideas? I'm new to modifying guns and their function, so bare with me on being a little nieve with this. I can get pictures of what ever you need, but I can't get videos because the only place I have to test fire guns is at camp, which is nearly 3 hours away.

OK, seperate the halves then put the selector on frt mode. push down on the hammer and move the lever back. it should not drag. it should move freely back and forth. make sure you have the hammer pushed down all the way with your finger. are you 100% sure you got it in right. arc fires are a little more complicated than the Atrius.

I will try this when I get some time. Lots going on at work and side projects.

Do you have an H3 buffer in it? if not that's your problem most likely.
I do not. I think its the original? This gun is unmodified except for the trigger I just put in. I have heard and read a little about h1, h2 and h3. A friend if mine has done multiple FRT installs and he said an H2 would be enough. Should I absolutely do and h3 though?

Most likely your problem. sometimes H2's will work. but be on the safe side and get the 3 if you have to buy one. if you have an H2, try it.. also do not get one with steel inserts. get the tungsten. tungsten is expensive now for some reason.
