Severe Drought

It is bone dry here and very hot been over 100 for a while and still more days to go. my fishing holes have just about dried up. the water is down to nothing and the fish have died by the hundreds cause the water is too hot. everything in these pics used to have water on them and fairly deep. we were down 25 inches a while back and then got some rain but back to no rain for a while now.

It;s going to take a lot of rain to fill these back up and then there won't be any fish cause they all died.

The last 2 years it was like that where I live till this year. Now there’s flood warnings happening and have spots where crop hasn’t grown because of flooding

Moderate to severe has been the mantra here in Tucson and Phoenix. And most of the West is the same. We aren't getting the snow packs in the Rockies etc. Rainfall here has been around 7-9 inches each year, but the last couple of years, we have had less than half of that

I just watched a YT from a father/son fishing channel. He said they're up to 3 bodies recovered. Personally, I'm surprised there aren't more.

where are you located?
we have not had rain since last week of july
well we had 0.02 when a large bird flew over

lake fork is s till in 80s percent full, but water stinks as its above 85F people here mowing dead grass to spread the dust.

its not the worst aug we have had. but its trying to be
pray for rain
