XS Sights R3D 2.0 Review

Never understood the reasoning behind using glow in the dark iron sights but not using a dot sight. They do exactly the same thing.

The sights in this article appear to be well made and will serve well for a long time.

In my Glock days, I would always use the Big Dots to replace the Glock plastic sights, though I preferred the rapid aim style of “dot the I”

As for these vs RDS, more a matter of size, and perhaps battery issues? I’m a believer in RDS on some carry guns, but not all.

Was going to have XS Sights install these on my EMP slide, but reading their disclaimer about damage while installing, decided to send to Springfield for low profile tritium combat sights instead.

xs sights are very good i use them on other guns other than springfields i prefer the springfield U notch sights on my xd's and hellcats, etc, if its going to be a carry gun i replace the sights if they arent already U notch equipped, i am an armorer and the springfield sights are some of the most difficult to replace, even with a good sight pusher tool. in fact some places charge more to install springfield sights over other gun brands. however i normally purchase the U notch sights directly from springfield and keep a couple sets in stock.
