Well as a old disabled LEO I can't afford a new or even used firearm. The meds that they told my take cost more than a new or used firearm and I told the Doc I can't even pay attention let alone a script. So I will just be very happy with my old beat up officer and commander which hits right where it's supposed to for over 70 yrs. Don't need pretty to get the job done. Yes I would love to have a nice shiny 1911 but then I would have to figure it out and I know I don't have that much time left so I will just keep sipping go whisky and tipping my hat to pretty girls.

almost every variant,

cant complain about them at all

9 mm in a 1911 i tried a few times, but it felt weird IMO,

best thing we can choose that which makes us HAPPPY

Anything built correctly doesn’t need constant “improvement”, “generations” etc, instead it will just quietly continue to do what is was designed to do. THAT is the hallmark of a great design.
