Happy belated b-day!Hi,
I picked up my birthday presents today, after going through all the paperwork.

I waited until both of them got to my FFL.

The Governor liked me today. It took only a half hour to do the paperwork and transfer. Now I've "accidentally" got two of these in my "one of each" collection.

I'm going to get matching grips so the grandkids don't fight over them when we start training.

The cocobolo grip is pretty but the stippled grip feels real good. I'll get up a range report for the 10mm as soon as I get a chance. Blessings to all.
Thank you for your indulgence,

Years ago, I bought a P22 as a first pistol for my son when he was 14. I still have it, as my daughter likes to shoot it. But it is very finicky about ammo. Best results were CCI Mini-Mag 36 grain (CPHP). Higher velocity ammo works best. Don't go with cheap stuff, or you will have a lot of problems.Going in the AM tomorrow to get one of these for the better half. She'll enjoy range time with me much more not having to shoot one of the .45s. Tiny hands and tiny wrists but she'll pull the trigger on a .45 without apprehension! Saw this on sale and figured she'd enjoy it more. 22LR.

The reviews I read said they were finicky but didn't have any ammo recommendations. This one is the "Q" model which supposedly has had the ammo issue resolved. I just added a couple hundred rounds of the CCI to my cart as you recommended. Thank you for the tip!Years ago, I bought a P22 as a first pistol for my son when he was 14. This is about 14 years ago when my son was a lot younger. Firing his P22. You can see the spent shell casing ejecting in the upper right corner of the picture. The reviews I read said they were finicky but didn't have any ammo recommendations. Box of Hornady critical defense and two boxes CCI 9mmJust a fun thread to see what we've all bought to feed the addiction so to speak.......
As for me, I hopefully found two Smith & Wesson magazine spacers for my M2.0 Compact, and two sets of oiled brown M1907 sling keepers from Turner Saddlery
