I'm glad to hear it works for you. I've been carrying a Canik Prime every day for the last year or so and it's a perfect fit for me. I love how it shoots, it has great capacity and it is easily concealable.

The three we've sold:
1. Smith & Wesson M&P9 Shield M2.0: My wife and I both hated this one. It was like shooting a small squirrel wrapped in sandpaper.
2. Springfield Armory Hellcat: I really wanted to love this pistol, but see #1.
3. Springfield Armory Ronin 1911 (4.25" Commander): Beautiful pistol, but after experiencing FTF/FTE issues every time I shot it, out it went.
General wisdom acquired: the micro-9 wave was great marketing of what looked like a great idea (a smaller, more concealable pistol that could do everything your big pistol could do . . . only not really.

I'll say that I've found the Ruger 9e to be a solid pistol. Although relatively heavy for her, my wife shoots it better than anything else we have (including her EDC, a Glock 43X). Also, back in the pre-covid days, I scored a Ruger AR556 (apparently discontinued now?) for $499. We took it to the range a couple of times and had horrible experiences. The first few rounds were okay, but then it jammed. Had to mortar the darn thing to get the round out. After the second time, opened a ticket with Ruger. Their customer service was great; sent it in for repair (I think they put on a new upper and barrel) and have not had an issue since. And, their 10/22 semiauto rifle has been excellent, too.

My wife has both the Smith & Wesson EZ models, .380 and 9 mm. She loves them, but I don't care for them. I have nothing but problems with the grip safeties. Any of my other firearms with grip safeties, no problems. You can also add me to the Glock list for the same issues stated by many others. As for firearm types, I have no use for lever action rifles. Or muzzle loaders. You guys are welcome to them. Don't hate on me for that, it just means more of those for you guys that like them.

the S/A Hellcat.....everyone told me that has one, "its just as good as and cheaper than the Sig 365", which were non-existent during the scandemic shortages...
the Hellcat is way too small, for my already small hands and INCREDIBLY snappy..i grew to hate it so much, that i dumped it, in favor of the Glock G-19...WAYYYYY BETTER, less snappy, and i can get on target instantly.
i am NOT a Glock fanboy, but i do have a few, and i have NO issues with the "grip angle"
i posted several pics in the "a good day at the range" thread as proof of my handling ANY Glock

Had 4 models years ago that were friends have massive FTF, parts break like firing pins, and just not a fan. More for those that love them. Not me

This surprises me. Most people love the feel of the Hi-Power and its clones. May I ask what about it didn't work for you?
I picked up an Sig p365 basic model with thumb safety in 2019 or so. I cannot warm up to this pistol no matter how hard I try. Grip is too small and feels awkward. The trigger pull feels too light for my comfort. So I gave it to my wife in the hopes she would fall in love with it and fully embrace the loving of shooting on a regular basis. Didn’t happen. Periodically I think about pulling it out of the safe and really trying to get comfortable with it. Still hasn’t happened.
Now I hear of some Sig p365s having trigger return spring issues causing a dead trigger. Considering how Sig is handling issues wit a different one of their handguns I think cautious concern is warranted. A potential weak point in a pistol I already have reservations about doesn’t exactly help its case.

I didn’t like my sa35 because it had the teething issues and went back twice for repair. FTF FTE galore. Off it went . My BHPmis outstanding though

I would have bought all of them from you. I love buying used "broke" Caniks from people. Usually get them dirt cheap.
The last one I bought had the rsa installed backwards.
