For that reason, my '99 Dakota works just fine. Thank you very much. I've only got 85k miles on it.

i remember the time(s) when a vehicle hit about 35,000 to 40,000 miles and either a valve job, or ring job were in need.
many times when either job was performed, the owner of the vehicle would plan on junking the old vehicle before the next "motor job" was needed, in favor of a brand new one, or a very low (under 5,000 miles) used car......
used car, "corner lots" were just about everywhere, and prices were great........
today........i'd love to have many airport hangers, loaded with all those cars.........
regarding the gun...I LOVE CZ's.......but not at that pricing.

Just tried getting a new windshield, mine has a long crack running across it. 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT Quad Cab. Made the appointment with Safelite over the weekend for the shop in my area. Was busy changing out my mower blades when they called this morning to notify me that they can't replace the windshield on vehicles that are over 20 years old. I hung up after a few choice words to the manager and finished my mower. Got cleaned up and called back for an explanation. The nice lady on the phone told me that due to parts availability issues and obsolescence, THEIR location couldn't do it. She said maybe the location in Gainesville could. I asked why it didn't specify that on their website, she said that it doesn't deal with individual locations. So, now I have to find somebody who can.

of course too, there are independant glass companies, local bone yards as well.
it very well could also be yes, due to the age of the vehicle, they just do not have any available, unless they special order one, and that can be costly.

i've been looking at maybe buying 1, but at the price of the ts2 blue 40s/w i'll pass for now? offer it in 10mm , 45acp or 357sig and i'll sell someone else's kidney for it

that's along my thought(s) as well...for a 9mm to be so high priced, i'd rather have a sweet 1911.at 500 less i'd still complain while buying 1
i just cannot justify that high cost for a 9mm, when well under a $1,000 price tag, there are some very sweet, high quality 9mm's out there, even "if" some are of the "plastic" types, which by the way, i have several that shoot fantastically, and handle recoil with aplomb.................my HK VP9 is such a "plastic" i speak of.
again...I LOVE the CZ brand, which is why i have at least 3 of them, so this is not a bashing towards the great brand that they are.
