A N Tx instructor contracts with a helo company to have the opportunity to shoot cars and steel targets from a Little Bird helo. Hosted about 1.5 hrs east of Dallas area

Amazing time. Such fun as a civilian to shoot from a helo as a firearms enthusiast. You run a circuit four different ways to shoot at 6 cars positioned around 150 acres and steel targets. Hidden in tree lines, pit in open and combo thereof. 4 passes per person . 120 rounds. Front seat shooter and back seat shooter. 1 crew chief to pass mags. Lots of aerial acrobat. Never hovered and always moving from 5’ off the ground to 100’
An absolute blast !!!

It was a “guys weekend” shoot.
Friends came in from out of town as well.
Friday was gun range.
Sat was helo, proper Texas Bbq then some more range time.
Sunday was a proper breakfast and off to the airport for the out of towners.
Had my friend takw along his grandson. Was the kids first time ever shooting an AR on Friday and Saturday he got to do it from a helo 😁🕺🕺

Where in TX? I'm in central TX for a bit longer

You right-handed fellers ought to try the right side seat! Unless you're a contortionist your in for a no fun day. I got really good shooting on the right seat as I'm a left-handed rifle shooter. This was in my 13-15yo range of shooting yotes and pigs on the fly and run. Rarely shot more than twice as many shots were a 1 and killed. A good pilot had some part of the equation. Glad you all had fun! Makes you wish you could do that every day!
