Just put a large brisket flat(12.5lbs) on my Traeger Pellet grill @8:00PM. Grill to 200 degrees, probe to 165 degrees super smoke on. Traeger app will alert me via cell should probe temp reach 165 degrees.

The brisket flat made up 16 bags like this ought to keep me fed for a few days.

I buy Kroger's brand red beans and rice and cut up polish sausage and cook with it. Makes a good and quick meal.

Hi,

After my gig today I came home and got a little yard work done. Mrs. BassCliff bought this push type leaf sweeper.

I was surprised. It doesn't do a bad job, getting most of the leaves, and it's quicker than raking.

The leaves have just started falling. I wonder how this sweeper will do once the big oak really takes a dump.

Fall is nice, except for all the leaves.

That looks like an old photo, but that was taken just last week here in Arkysaw. The two ladies on the ends with the choos don't live here. they be just visitin from out of state and wore their kinfolks clothes but were too tenderfooted to go without choos.

Where I grew up, there used to be a WWII veteran who had been a POW of the Japanese. In an interview of his experiences as a POW in the hometown local newspaper, he said one thing he will never eat again was rice. That, and bugs they caught were about all they had to eat.
