Some tips for Long-Term gun storage. I should probably do some of these for my collection of Military era firearms that I want to preserve. I do put most of them into silicone Gun Socks, in cabinets with GoldenRods within. I'd like to get a safe or two, but need to find the space to put them.

I've used these.

BROWNELLS/BLUGUARD VCI - VACUUM SEAL STORAGE BAGS

I like that you can use a vacuum cleaner to suck any remnant air out, just like a food sealer.

To guarantee from any leakage I put a strip of Painters tape over the valve and zip-lock seal areas.

Did this with my Edge back in February just to see if our FoodSaver vacuum sealer could do it. Took 38" of FoodSaver mat'l to accomplish it.
