Preaching to the choir here but this is my response on another forum.
EVERYONE should know and follow gun safety rules. PERIOD! Whether you are a "gun person" or not you should know and follow the safety rules. Gun safety should start at home at a young age and continue into elementary school...
Outlaw all vehicles. If it saves one live....
No planes, trains, automobiles, trucks, boats, air and wind flight. If you need something walk to where it is manufactured. Need products to make you product? Walk and carry it.
I have rifles with "dots" I have a .22 pistol that is meant to be a suppressor host that I have a "dot" for. I just have a personal issue for carry guns with "crap" all over them. My most common carry is a G43 in a pocket, all the "crap" just wouldn't work. It just seems a strange concept to add...
I hate big ole honking "crap" hanging off my pistols. I guess it is the new big thing with the young ones now days.
Just hang a clown horn off your rail or "optic mount".
Honk honk
I haven't read this thread but after a incident in my town yesterday I wanted to say NEVER EVER leave a firearm in your vehicle unattended especially if unlocked.
If you have some time you can watch this video. This incident starts at the 36 minute mark.
FULL VIDEO: MULTIPLE AGENCIES PURSUE...
I have a set of Double diamond Indian Rosewood VZ Grips for a 1911 on order. More for aesthetics and to try out as I am new to 1911s. Plus I think they will match a brown elephant holster "rig" better than green G10. lol
I have several of their holsters, IWB, OWB, paddle, mag pouches, etc. Mostly for G43 but I have some for a G19 and a G36, I like their plastic stuff for striker fired guns.
