I'm one that believes that a "proper stance " is for target shooting. For a fight, you better be able to shoot from any position.

In Oklahoma, you need to be able to show that you felt there was an immediate and imminent danger. Now, w do have open carry, so your weapon accidentally getting exposed is not brandishing.

Those cartridges are so different that it's silly to compare them.

I own a few handguns. The xd-m elite 4.5 10mm is my favorite to shoot. For carry, its the hellcat.

I keep a fixed blade in the vehicle and a fire starter for the one in a million emergency. I carry a folder every day.

Well shoot. Went to let the dog in and bumped the post button. I chose the Remora/ sticky holster to make it easy to change positions. Somewhere around the 3:30 is what works for me.
