2nd thoughts on " what is my favorite gun "

Or, I could just depend on my Hi-Pt .45. Just like the Ruger and the SCCY it has never failed me. And that is what we all want, a gun that will never fail us! You have to own a Hi-Pt in order to appreciate them. I own 6 and like all of them. I will never part with my 995 carbine. That is...

2nd thoughts on " what is my favorite gun "

For the past thousand years my Ruger Blackhawk .357 has been my favorite gun. S/A 6 shot 6.5 inch barrel. It has never failed me after 4,000 + rds. I truly love that gun. Bought it new in 1970. I truly trust it with my life. Keep it loaded with .38 spl. +P H/P ammo. But after considering...

    The GSG 1911

Those shots were at 21 ft. It shot that accurately straight out of the box.

    The GSG 1911

What a nice semi this gun is. Put 20 rds. thru it and, in my opinion, it really shoots pretty good. Do you like your GSG 1911?

Do you own a Heritage revolver?

Really, for the money, they are not a bad gun to own. I really like mine. Got it before they started putting adjustable sights on them. My windage was OK but my elevation was off. It was shooting way low. Glad it was shooting low 'cause all I had to do was file off some of the front sight...

Would you own a Taurus handgun?

For me, the answer is a simple yes,yes and yes. My 3 Taurus guns are very reliable. The G2S will shoot any kind of cased ammo. It shoots brass, alu and steel cased ammo all mixed in together in a mag. It shoots flawlessly. The 856 shoots spot on especially when you stage the cylinder. Even...

    What is your favorite gun?

One gun I will never part with is my 1927 .32-20 Army Colt Special. It might be 94 years old but it is in remarkable condition. It belonged to my father and he dearly loved it.

    What is your favorite gun?

Yes, the ole 3 screw. I want to keep it original. I just load one, skip one then load the other four. I just love the sound of those 4 clicks when I hammer back.

Do you own a Hi-Pt firearm?

Ok, I get it. I will reinstall all 5 mag disconnect safeties. I want to stay in line with the forum. Thanks.

Do you own a Hi-Pt firearm?

To Keystone 1925 You have the cart in front of the horse. Removing the mag disconnect safety allows me to dry fire the pistol with the mag still in. The Sccy can be dry fired with the mag still in. The Hi Pt has a manual safety and the Sccy only has an inertia safety. So, what is the...

Do you own a Hi-Pt firearm?

Removing the mag disconnect safety allows me to dry fire it. That's all. It's removal does not affect any safety feature. So there!!!

Do you own a Hi-Pt firearm?

Me, I own 6 of them. They take a lot of bashing. A lot of people do not like them. Cheap, unreliable, heavy and just too big. Then again, a lot of people like them, me included. I really like my .40 and .45. But, I really like my 9 carbine. Now, that is one nice rifle in my opinion...

    What is your favorite gun?

For one thing, I love my .22 pistols. They are extremely accurate and reliable (CCI ammo). But my favorite gun is my Ruger Blackhawk (357) that I bought 51 yrs. ago. It shoots spot on and is still in showroom condition. I bought it new and have put North of 4,000 rds. thru it. Most of those...

    Another question 'bout another S&W

So, Hans, can I assume that I can shoot +p rds. in this 64 yr. old snubbie with a pinned barrel? I would only load them for home protection only.
