I’m tired of these ignorant people making comments on firearms and 2A issues. Even the “conservative” pundits. Last night I heard “high powered rifle”, “automatic assault weapon”, automatic AR15”, “M4” and others. And these were all on Fox News. Never heard any of these descriptions corrected...

And my Kuna hasn't blown apart either. Really, the only instances I've heard of the bolt coming apart are the two examples here. Haven't heard it reported on any other websites or seen any Youtube videos about it. My magazines are still fine as well.

Drops off a bunch. The FRP isn’t quiet, but it’s still hearing safe. After that it’s stupid quiet.

I have the OCL Lithium on mine with the tri-lug set up. Pretty happy with it. The Lithium does have some first round pop, but after that, it’s VERY quiet. I’m not sure there are many center fire suppressors out there that don’t have FRP. Lithium is very light and the tri-lug is real convenient...

Maybe try going with a heavier buffer weight to start. I haven’t done that with my 16” AR .223, but that’s what I did with my 8.5” .300 BLK to get things to slow down a little. I moved up incrementally and wound up using an H3. Worked good enough for me.

I wouldn’t worry about it yet. There’s thousands of Kuna’s out there and this has only happened to a handful that I’ve heard about. I’ve had no issues with mine. Either with the bolt or the magazines.

I’m 64 and need reading glasses, that’s why I went from irons to RDS. Irons are just way too blurry. And yes, for me the larger dot takes up too much room on the target for my liking. Especially as you move further out. Some people like them though.

Personally, I don’t like the larger dot. Covers too much area for my liking. Just don’t feel like I can be as accurate. I tried a 6 MOA one time and wound up returning it and going back to the 2 MOA. But I’m sure it’s a matter of personal preference.

Be interesting to see if Springfield gives an explanation as to why this has happened. I don’t think I’ve heard of this happening other than the couple examples here.

Switched out the standard mount for the Romeo 5 with the low mount on my Kuna. It now co-witnesses with the flip up iron sights...

I’m not jealous either. And it HAS happened. No tax on suppressors, SBS, SBR & AOW are now $0. It’s law passed by Congress and signed by President Trump. Should start Jan 1. Now, we just need to get registration removed from the NFA.
