I would say 6”-8”…perfect for suppression. But, yeah…G21 mags are a must.

Shotshells will rarely cycle an auto. About the only way I’ve seen it done is by putting an incredibly light recoil spring in, which will tend to cause issues with standard ammo. Use a revolver.
