Hmm. The forum does rely on some third party servers, for example it runs checks against third party data when checking for spam content at time of submitting a new post. I believe that is the culprit here. Let’s give it some time and I believe it should improve. I don’t really want to disable...

I just adjusted some settings on the server. It appears to be better for me now. Let me know if you guys are still having trouble with the speed.

Hi all, So far things seem to running more smoothly with the new setup. Please do let us know if you run into any issues, but I anticipate this new configuration should produce a significant increase in stability. Hopefully we'll have very little downtime in the future. Thanks! Louis

We are still in the switchover period to the new system, which may take up to another 24 hours. Unfortunately there isn't a way to speed these things up, as the DNS changes have to propagate worldwide (and it goes rather slowly). Thanks for your patience.

That was probably during the switchover to the new server set up. Hopefully things will be relatively smooth sailing from here, although it may take another 24-48 hours for everyone to switch to the new configuration.

Thanks for the heads up, all. We've looked into this issue with the hosting company, but unfortunately it seems to be related to particular geographic regions. Being that there are numerous routes the internet takes to get to the Armory Life server from different locales, issues can pop up in...

They can set a periodic email to be sent out at whatever interval they'd like. For example, they could set up the emails to be something like "whoever hasn't logged in in the last two years." They probably just revamped their sending schedule recently, or perhaps it was never set up until...

I'm not sure, the registration date of TidalWave on 1911 Addicts shows as May 16, 2020. In any case, I can assure you that no data sharing exists from this forum to other sites/forums.

There is no connection from this forum to 1911 Addicts or any other forum. With due respect, are you sure that you didn't register on 1911 Addicts as TidalWave and have since forgotten? There is someone registered on their site with the name TidalWave...
