How to make the United States united again?

Yup, it's going to take LISTENING to the other side's point of view without having to insert your own opinions. Just listen and try to understand where other folks are coming from. That's just the beginning.

    Carry vs No Guns sign.

I just can't understand their mindset. On what planet do bad guys obey the law? Changing laws does a couple things: 1. Affect what the good guys can or cannot do. 2. Affects the punishments afflicted upon bad guys when they break a law. Gun laws do NOTHING to PREVENT a bad guy from doing bad...

    Carry vs No Guns sign.

Go in. Shop. Pay. Get in car. "No Guns" signs, in my state, do not carry the weight of law. There are certain areas where the legislature has deemed off-limits, like courthouses and mental hospitals. The post office and federal buildings are a different animal altogether. If a property owner...

    What are you?

Didn't feel comfortable answering ANY of those questions on a public website. I don't share that **** with anyone.

Biden Administration Comes Down Against Concealed Carry

Good thing I don't care what he thinks. Or says.

    .357 Mag hunting bullets

Barnes makes a 140 grain XPB bullet for 357 Mag for reloading, but they also sell the ammunition with that same bullet. They ALSO sell a 357 Mag TAC-XPD ammo that contains a 125 grain TAC-XP bullet, which is tailored more toward self defense.

    XD-S Mod 2 9mm - 2 questions

When I shoot my Mod 2 (or any striker-fired pistol) I fire the first round and then let off until I hear/feel that little click of the sear (???) re-engaging so that the next pull is super short. Might help.

    .357 Mag hunting bullets

I've used both 158's and 180's in my revolver with H110 powder. Awesome sauce, right there.

    How to sharpen your knife

I am a terrible person. I'll take a $200 S30V steel knife and run it through my regular old electric sharpener in the garage. And since I can't fit the *entire* blade into the mechanism, I end up sharpening about 80% of the blade. The area closest to my hand remains the same as the day I bought...

Any idea what speed are you getting out of those 155 grain XTPs?

DeSantis 1911 holsters - now molded specifically for SIG profile slides.

Odd business decision, but perhaps the market, FOR THEM, made more sense that way? Weird.

    Giving it a try again…….

Haven't hunted for at least 5 years myself. Things just get too weird around here. I started hunting in Wyoming and will probably pick up a pronghorn tag next year. Just have a hard time hunting in my home state because of the use and abuse of the land and breaking of rules. I can hike 5 miles...

    What's Your EDC, PLEASE VOTE

I carried an XD 45 of *some* flavor for close to 15 years. That ranged from a full-sized XD down to the XDS. Finally traded the XDS 45 for an XDS 9mm because the recoil was hurting my hand. But I also now carry a Glock 29 (10mm) on a regular basis, but the felt recoil of the 10mm in the Glock is...

    Non-Gun Hand Drills

While I suspect I might shoot SLOWER, I wouldn't expect my shooting wrong-handed to be any less proficient than my normal hand. Although, there may be issues with shooting due to the right-eye/left-eye dominance in conjunction with your handedness. Know what I mean? The way I was taught to...

Training with a 22, not your carry gun

Early on in my shooting experiences, I was taught by a master gunsmith. He not only taught me how to shoot, but taught me reloading and even left me his gunsmithing books and RCBS Ammomaster (and other components) when he died. When he was teaching me to shoot, if he noticed any sort of flinch...
