Unfortunately, I have been the victim of theft two times. Both, I was unaware that workmen would be in an area where firearms were stored..,a computer room and a garage. In both cases I did not realize they were missing. Both are reported to police. Maybe they will one day show up.

My take on this…started reloading in1978, At least that is the oldest ammo that has a date on it. I check others data against other sites and determine my own loads. Most are medium loads. Some, like bear or South L.S. loads are not. Everyone has the opportunity to determine his/her own loads.

I bought a 1938 version of “History of the USMC” a while back. Wanted more information on the pre-WW2 Corps. Inside was the previous owner’s name. Donald Watkins , Tientsin China 1940. I assume he rotated stateside before Pearl Harbor.

.38 used T be dirt cheap and 9mm the expensive round until departments switched to it. Then the price point shifted.
