Law enforcement responding after 2 National Guard members shot near White House

Clueless arrogance on her part is soon to hit the wall of reality. I have grown so weary of these cranks with a megaphone.

    Like Wearing Superman’s Cloak

I bought 16 of them for my team in 1985 for $1600 each and thought they were pricey

New to the Armory Life. Questions for a holster

Check LAS holsters and Craft holsters. Also try Chuck at On Point holsters. If you have a large gun shop nearby check with them, some big shops have the ability to make kydex holsters on the spot while you wait. I would also call Alpha Foxtrot they might point you to the right maker.

    Show off your 1911

Grip screws coming loose from recoil on 1911's is something I have come to expect, especially with .45. Same thing with my P220 Sigs. Locktite helps, I just tighten them every time I shoot, but not too much. Break off a screw and you have a bigger problem. I keep a couple sets of spare 1911...

Trijicon RMR and AOS Plate Question

Congrats on thst pistol. I have the CC AOS and it is the perfect pistol for me. Fit and function are outstanding I would use the screws that came with the RMR. Thread them into the mounting plate with fingers first to be sure the threads match. Then the question is are the screws the right...

    The Grim Reaper

That SOB has had me in his sights more times than I like to contemplate. It is good to be retired, growing old in my wood shop.

9 mm Carry Guns Yesterday and Today

My first 9mm carry gun was a Model 39. I was inspired by Illinois State Police. That gun was exceptionally accurate, as were subsequent Gen 3 pistols. Unfortunately I stupidly traded the M39 off for something, wish I still had it.

    What about corrective lenses?

I have taken a dummy handgun for my eye exam. My eye doc prescribes tri-focals for me. The bi-focal is for close up reading, the middle is dialed in for my front sight, and the field is for distance. The middle lens is also good for the computer screen on my desktop. It works for me. It's...

Is the 1911 the Ideal Woods Gun?

I carry my .45 1911 every day, but if I go into the woods to hunt, or to shoot hogs in a trap, I take the 10mm P220. And it is a heavy sonofagun.

What are you doing right now??

Sitting here watching a toad strangler coming down. Finally breaking a drought, the springs had stopped running, my lake and the creek at the lowest I have seen. A cold front rolling through slowly then temps will be in the 30's come Wednesday.
