I found all kinds of trigger springs, recoil springs, recoil assist kits, etc.
Otherwise, I can’t say anything about parts availability, I’ve read the same…hard to come by especially from Canik.
Luckily, I haven’t had to find out…
I would bet that kinda thing happens more than we hear/know.
How many times they were just held up at gunpoint, handed it over… and we never heard of it.
“They met in an alley”…
Yep…uh nope. nuh uh.
Public place like a large shopping center parking lot at least, local PD parking lot whenever possible.
Alley? Hell no.
Especially for something like a car.
Thanks RLB…
I’m enjoying it as second fiddle. It gets range time behind my P now…since my wife affectionately calls the 320 Legion/Sig Armorer supplied “Her” pistol :)
I sometimes think about selling it for either MSRP or above to make a buck, but that‘s just not me.
I like it, serves a...
Zero issue with that. Your opinion…totally!!
My post wasn’t about “people” either.
It was about products, just like the Turkish guns, somehow….that got stretched out to include people… to which I can’t draw the parallel.
Let’s face it…if it’s A product that can be made. It can be made well...
Well said Hans…well said :)
Gotta admit, was never really a fan of the platform, still don’t care for the .45ACP round. But, starting with a Prodigy and now a pair of Staccatos… I’m sold on the platform, double stacked of course :)
Comfortable with what I know and use. That’s my excuse and...
Beyond a stretch…
And sorry Bob, you missed not only the point, but the overall conversation.
Please draw the parallel where I even remotely suggested anything about people disliking guns or people not allowed to support whatever country they choose.
A poster made mention of a Turkish gun...
Doesn’t change origin or point.... like complaining about capitalism while sipping a Starbucks and tweeting from an iPhone (courtesey of Tom MacDonald)
Not sure. To be honest.. I play in the double stack 1911/2011 market, not the traditional.
Seeing as there are Atlas tool less in 4.25, 4.4 and 5… you ”may” have to have a quality fab shop cut/weld/machine one to get a true “tool less”.
I’m not a fan of the paper clip ones. I see EGW has one...
Yep... My idea of experience is what I personally own and maintain..not what I see/hear.
When I see a car broke down on the side of the road, I don’t assume it’s the car…as I’m passing by.
Luckily for us… the two of us are keeping the company afloat, for now.
Yep…mine has been nothing but junk. Roughly 8K rounds through it, other than a few FTF/FTE in the first 150 or so rounds, just chugging through cheap o reman ammo.
I’ve since picked up a Staccato P and C2. Solid pistols, but nothing like this junk Canik.
How many rounds do you have through...
I really, really wish people would stop parroting if you have a light trigger the police, courts, DA, attorney will come after you.
No.
If you discharge your weapon at a suspect then a few more rounds that strike others, yes.
Trigger weight by and of itself, no.
If you’re handy at all in any sense.
Watch the Atlas video on how to adjust the trigger tension.
I used my old Prodigy as a “how to” adjust sear springs on 1911 style.
Within 20 minutes, taking your time, you can easily increase the trigger pull to 4LB if that’s your goal.
You could replace it...
Incorrect.
I worked for Kmart Auto Centers from 1993 to 2002. In 1998 they were bought out by Roger Penske and became Penske Auto Centers.
I worked at the corporate office from late 98 to the end in 2002 when they folded due to the KMart Bankruptcy (Kmart was our “bank”..). They held our sales...
