I bought a set of Glock sights. A co-worker said he was going to provide some (he has extras). That was a week ago. I figured he forgot and I don't care enough to ask.
I got bored and put together what I had. Still no sight systems present. I'm looking for a holster now, and a few more mags. I want a woods holster, something with retention so it will be harder for me to lose when I fall in a creek.
So in the past I had simple ordered a barrel and RSA for in 10mm to be used in my Glock 21 (.45 acp). After doing a little more research it looks like the .45 slide is not the best option for running 10mm through it. The frames are the exact same(?).... supposedly. anyway I finally broke down...
The Glock 48 MOS (so the 43x MOS too?) had this same problem with the optic screw on the right side interfering with the extractor. At least with the screws provided by Holosun.
Oldest I've got is a Ruger P85. I'd carry it if I had to, but it's Uuuuuge. I guess I could use it as a club if I needed to. It is a tank.
Realistically, my oldest carry gun is my 4013TSW. drug this beast into the 21st century by propositioning it with booze and money. Then when it wasn't...
I have my CSX back. Again. Took it to the range after replacing the slide. Now it is back in it's original form.
Looking fancy. Like a pretend 1911.
The top target was my original five rounds. The tight grouping.... was not the CSX. That was from my Taurus TH40c (bigger holes too)...
I admittedly barely skimmed the article. However, it said "Everyman price". I followed that up with an Optics Planet search. Apparently someone is getting a kickback since "Everyman price" is $400? Or I guess I am not everyman. Maybe El Cheapo Supremo is more my speed or Hombre común. My wallet...
When I hunt I always bring a handgun/ammo combo that would be legal to take game. I don’t want to get jammed up over anything.
This has been a Taurus Tracker 627 (4" .357 mag). However, my next hunt I plan to carry either my Glock 20 or M&P40 1.0.
I made both of my kids learn all about the AR-15. When it was time to actually shoot it however, I put in a CMMG .22LR converstion bolt. They had fun. Only my daughter opted to shoot actaul 5.56 later. She still shoots. My son decided he liked flinging arrows with his bow more than he liked...
