    Review: Sig P211 by PewView

I've seen lots of dropped guns at competitions. There's a reason it's a DQ to do so. I've earned that once - didn't fully lock my gun into my race holster between make ready and start and the loaded gun fell out when I leaned into my start position. Got to go home early that day. I've also...

    Got my range bags.

It's good to know that SurePost is an option for FedEx, not a hard requirement. It allows them to use USPS for last mile delivery where it makes sense. Sounds like it was easier to add you to a truck's route than to route something else to USPS (and pay for that last mile delivery).

They're two different services. Why would you expect this?

Echelon with tab/lever on end of COG

For everyone wondering, several descriptions of the process for a manual safety are on the internet. Here's one (that goes on to detail the safety delete, but coverers removal and reinstallation with the manual safety intact): (Step 1 / Pics 1 & 2 here) describe the "more upward" position of...

Echelon with tab/lever on end of COG

You're snapping one part into another. I'm not denying it might have an extra step or two, or take a different direction, I'm saying figuring out how it's done cannot possibly be this hard, especially if you removed it yourself and the COG is made specifically to be interchangeable in frames...

Echelon with tab/lever on end of COG

This is a drop-in part, not building your own electrical coil from the ground up. The refusal of people who have quite literally all the information on the planet in front of them to troubleshoot things is astounding.

Someone has to be. Bad advice is bad. If it's not working, figure out why. It's obviously made to work - study it. Ask more questions. Ask more people. Do the work. Learn.

Echelon with tab/lever on end of COG

I'm curious, why? The product is designed to swap the COG between grips. That's not something I'd expect SA to have to do for me at 3 weeks every grip swap. Why is it best to let them do it vs. them documenting the right way to do it with this variant?

Echelon with tab/lever on end of COG

Just FYI, there's never a reason to remove the COG for cleaning. Nothing that you can't reach with it being seated needs cleaning. Strange that it would be that difficult when their product is made for that purpose. Hopefully they're sending a label? Shipping handguns can get expensive.

Did you pull the trigger while inserting? That makes it easier to drop in at the final stage: Looks like it needs to push back a bit - pulling the trigger slightly makes that easier.

I've got a S&W M&P 5.7 that's in my rotation when I need something much thinner than my EDC but still want a full size gun. I'm running 27gr copper projectiles at over 2000 fps. It's a really, really easy gun to quickly center multiple shots with and the round is rear-balanced, designed to...
