These are two guns that I honestly can't wait to shoot again. I just bought another 2k rounds of ammo and have increased my range days to 2 a week.

I started with Kydex holsters years ago and they were always uncomfortable. I went with leather and never looked back. I'm a big fan of 1791 Gunleather holsters and I've been very happy with them so far.

The RMSc optic plate arrived for the Kimber, so I mounted an Osight SE enclosed optic and swapped out the grip panels. I like the look of the original grips, but they weren't really very grippy... Ran 100 rounds thru the gun today to check function, make sure there were no issues with the plate...

The Osight SE enclosed in green is what I have on my AOS TRP and I have the Osight C on my Echelon. Both are excellent optics and at an excellent price.

I'm still "old school" and enjoy carrying a 1911 often. Although most of my 1911's now are optic ready so I am getting the best of both worlds.

I hope.. This is my first Kimber. I wouldn't have considered one a few years ago, but Kimber seems to have turned itself around with quality. I will say this, this gun has one of the tightest frame to slide/ smoothest slide that I've ever seen in a factory gun.

This is TRUE. I've seen my gun budget rise and fall and I never have the budget for another gun, but it always seems to find its way home with me.

This my first Kimber. I had been looking at this one for a while now and it finally showed up at my LGS yesterday. I checked it out and passed on it due to budget reasons. Couldn't stop thinking about it, so here it is.
