    Show off your 1911

I picked up the Kimber Next Gen 1911 4.25" today. I have to say that this is probably the most beautiful 1911 I have ever seen. The finish is really stunning in person. I can't wait to get it to the range and see how it shoots!

    Show off your 1911

I made a few changes to the TRP and it's been running great. I wasn't a fan of the hydra grips in pbj, so I swapped them out for a set of Hydra grips in black. I also added an Osight SE enclosed optic. I'm very happy with the setup.

First Look: COA-Equipped Prodigy and 1911 Pistols

The 1911 AOS to me is the best of both worlds. The style and accuracy of a true 1911, but with the modern optic upgrade which makes it even more accurate and fun to shoot. Will I get a COA version? I doubt it, just because all of my guns are for daily use and the COA really isn't that...

    Echelon 4.0C Guide Rod/Spring Upgrade

I use the Apex Stainless Steel guide rod in my Echelons. I like that it uses the factory spring, so the spring rate doesn't change, but it adds a slight bit of weight and adds reliability to the guide rod.

    First Look: Echelon Alpha 4.0C

You'll need the mag spacer to use the extended mags to fill the space between the mag base and the bottom of the grip. If that's something that matters to you. I actually have a couple that I don't need anymore, free to you if you want them, for only postage.

    TRP Range Day #2!

I was able to get some more range time in today with the TRP and I wanted to get the Stainless Garrison out for a run since I was having issues with both on my first outing. I also wanted to run a variety of mags to see if any of them had issues. The mags were a selection from Wilson Combat...

    TRP Range day!

This is a local Oklahoma 2A org. They're free for anyone, I noticed a couple of non working links but saved all of them I could for future use.

Interest in Springfield 1911 single stack with factory COA?

The COA looks good on an Echelon, I'm curious what it looks like on a 1911.

    TRP Range day!

Thank you sir! I usually clean and inspect my new firearms before going to the range, but I didn't the last time for some reason.

    TRP Range day!

Thank you sir! I'm still getting used to the color. I REALLY like the Osight line of optics. I have started replacing my Holosuns with Osights. They are well worth the price of admission, and I would recommend them to anyone who asks.

    TRP Range day!

Funny story about that... I originally wanted an evil all black one, but all they had was the Coyote Brown. The price was WAY too good to pass up so I went ahead and got it. I didn't like the pbj grips so I ordered black ones from VIZ. Same grips, just in black. Anyway, I went back to the same...

    TRP Range day!

I already had the first range day last week with the TRP and it was less than stellar. I had multiple failure to feeds with a range of ammo. In all fairness, I had just received two 1911s and I really didn't clean and lube them properly. This time, I thoroughly cleaned and lubed the TRP after I...
