FMJ is suitable for hunting? I figured it was like defense rounds (JHP, polymer tipped etc...). interesting.

I don't hunt hogs. In fact, I don't hunt. However, that M1A is pretty bad ***, "clack, clack". Love that sound. For the hog hunters... what ammo is typically used? Soft point? i ask because if i remember correctly, from @KillerFord1977 (I believe), soft point ammo is a "no-no" for the M1A.

Memories are short in America, and getting shorter. Buy more ammo.

We have the worst sort of critter here in NJ… the “Trenton leech”. Nasty bunch. They’re so slick you can’t even get a photo of them. 😮
