I ordered an OEM Gen 3 Glock 23 slide (complete), and a TruGlo green fiber-optic front sight for same.
I have a Gen 3 frame running a complete Shadow Systems trigger assembly. This currently has a PSA Dagger slide on it and I want to make it more plain. More OEM looking.
I teally like revolvers. I just wish I could get one that would take a red dot and a weapon light and only cost as much as a Glock.
I also like .22LR and have a Heritage Rough Rider (with both cylinders). I do prefer DA/SA though and can't wait to try out my Charter Arms Pathfinder 1.5.
Wow! My current range master used to much stricter... his motto was:
Eventually he got investigated and demoted. Now he's more of a
kind of guy. Still can be a diva and a gun snob.
and
I only change duty ammo when I have to. For off-duty guns that are only carried randomly or I have to purchase myself, I never swap it out. 10mm, .357 mag, .40 are pricey.
Okay, I see where you are going with this but you have make sure the city on the other side of the contract is willing to pay. From what I've seen most municipal governments work hard to take away benefits, not fully fund them.
Also, every agency I have worked with or for, ensures that their...
I like the magnifier or an LPVO. If nothing else than to basically have a monocular with me.
The longest range I have been at, on containment for a barricaded gunman, was maybe 50 yards.
This was a mobile home surrounded by hoarder junk built up over 20 years in the middle of a 5 acre lot...
We (my agency) uses a 100 yard zero. However, our urban environment is small and can be cut up with grazing land, creeks and so on. Making magnified optics a true force multiplier.
But I agree with the 50/200 yard zero. I cannot see a realistic time when I, as law enforcement, would be...
I survived my trip. Super uneventful. I will say that I got into a duty gun discussion with a detective out of Texas, yes Baby-Hands I'm talking about you.
Apparently he carries two Staccatos at work. One primary and another smaller one as a BUG.
He then proceeded to say that he didn't like...
I'm only laughing because I have literally gotten the same response from S&W three times for my CSX. Admittedly this was/is for a trigger that randomly freezes up.
I also spoke to customer service at length describing the problem and provided a typed letter just to get it fixed. No sunshine for...
So if I have a Pathfinder with a Pathfinder II barrel and cylinder, is it a Pathfinder 1 & 1/2? Also, I have a BUG for this....
Trust me, if I have to go for a NAA anything (horrible guns) I'm at least three steps past desparate.
This arrived at my house today. I'm not there but it is. I imagine that it is only a 6 shot. I feel kind of sad that it isn't an 8-shot. Oh, well. Life goes on. At least until I get to VA.
So the new cylinder is a 8 shot and the OG is six. I don't know how that works with revolver timing...
