My first car was a 1969 beetle. Have you ever made out with a girl in one? It’s an experience you will never forget lol.

What are you doing right now??

Laying in a hospital bed in pain. But the Dilaudid and percoet 10 are helping some. Had my last fusion of my lumbar today. No more vertebrae left that hasn’t been fused in my lumbar. 2 more days before the Dr will let me go home. 3 months of recovery with no driving and no lifting over 5 lbs.

9/7/2026 range visit (not for the weak of heart).

It’s the same at the outdoor range I go to. But there are people who clean it up every day or every other day. They clean it up for the brass. If no one cleaned it up the parking lot could be regraveled with brass in a week lol.

Well doesn’t this just Grind your gears.

Austin Tx is in the same situation if they keep allowing the Muslims to procreate they will take over Austin if we allow them to keep going on breeding like rabbits and drawing welfare they will take over this nation.

9/7/2026 range visit (not for the weak of heart).

That shotgun you were patterning has a large spread 😂. Everyone has a bad day at the range at some point. A bad day at the range is still better than a good day at work. My next to the last range trip the arthritis in my hands was flared up and after my first magazine I was lucky to keep round...

    The younger workplace void

That’s why I homeschooled my kids. Both were working by the time they were 15 and they are still at it. So kids and adults wouldn’t work in a pie factory. Wages have a lot to do with it also. Especially if they are working for the public. It’s not worth $8 an hour to get cussed out or treated...

Using cfe do you have to fire a few rounds to foul the barrel to get good groups? I never strip the copper fouling out of any of my firearms. Hogdon is my go to powder but I’ve never seen any benefit to use cfe. Not trying to knock your recipe but I’m old and shot a round or two. Excellent group.

I’m really bad about not reading the rules. I usually learn by a few smacks to the back of the head. Learn move on. I think I joined this forum 6 months ago. I was welcomed in and wasn’t treated differently from anyone. I’m not a social media person but I really enjoy this forum.

    Weather discussions and updates.

We lost power for a week temps stayed in the teens for highs and single digits for low. We cooked and melted water for the toilet on a kerosene heater. I had a 6’ snow drift on my front porch that was our refrigerator. That was an interesting week.

    Weather discussions and updates.

I watched Ryan last night and I’m hoping he’s wrong since I live in the south and according to him it’s not looking good for us in the Tn Valley. I remember the blizzard of 93 it shut everything down for over a week and it was only 2 feet of snow lol. We don’t get over a couple of inches and...

Can SA 1911's be modified to fire .45 Super?

I have never looked at the 45 super and the ballistics. I’ve always liked the magnum handguns. 45acp has never been a cartridge I was interested in really don’t know why. I love the 1911 platform and the 10mm cartridge so when I bought my RI I wanted to be able to tinker with it and I knew if I...

Can SA 1911's be modified to fire .45 Super?

The 460 Rowland would be an awesome cartridge form the 1911. Barrel would probably hand to be fitted and stiffer main spring. Supposed to give close to 44 magnum velocities out of a 5” barrel.

    Ammunition & Reloading

I got a really good deal in my Henry. I had built a 556 pistol and had built I had maybe $400 in it and when the last AR craze was going on I traded it for the Henry 45/70. Guy said he had shot less that a box of cartridges through it. I’ve got it set up as a guide gun with a skinner rail and...

What is your absolute favorite handgun and caliber.

I have always liked SA pistols way more than DA. Absolute favorite handgun is my Ruger Super Blackhawk in 44 magnum made in 1979 with 98% bluing that can be loaded to light loads wiich I never do. And my Ruger Super Wrangler in 22LR/22 magnum is my second. I also have a Ruger Wrangler in 22lr...

    Ammunition & Reloading

😂 primers are coming down and getting to the point in going to stock back up. My go to primer has always been CCI. In need SP, LPM, LR, and LP and all the Large primers are still 80-90$/1000. I probably have more powder than I will ever use but I would like to have some more 45/70 powder but I...

    just re-ordered more 9mm

I used to buy from Everglades quite a bit I still have projectiles but not enough primers to load them. I used to keep 5000 primers for everything I loaded. I loaded up every piece of brass I had and used up all my primers and then they went to $100/1000 and I said I’m good until they come down...
