1911 Garrison 9mm Tritium Sights

I love my 1911 Garrison 9mm, but I would like to upgrade my sights to something easier to see and line up. Can anyone recommend a good high visibility sight that will fit my Garrison?

Contact Springfield and ask them. They changed the sights on my Ronin and the cost was reasonable.

Springfield Armory 1911 pistols use a Novak-style cut for the rear sight and a proprietary 60-degree cut for the front sight.

Rear Sight Cut

• Type: Novak low-mount style.
• Details: Most modern fixed-sight Springfield 1911s (like the Garrison or Loaded series) use a Novak-pattern rear dovetail cut. However, some adjustments or light filing may be needed because exact dimensions can vary slightly from authentic Novak specs.
• Adjustable Sights: Models with factory adjustable sights (such as the Range Officer or Loaded Target) typically use an LPA style cut rather than a standard Novak.

Front Sight Cut

• Type: Proprietary Springfield 60-degree dovetail.
• Details: Unlike standard 1911 front sights (which often use a 65-degree angle or a GI-style stake-on), Springfield uses a unique 60-degree dovetail angle that is deeper and wider. To avoid extensive filing or modification, you should buy front sights specifically labeled for Springfield cuts.

whatever you finally choose, check with a local gunsmith to install them. may be quicker than shipping the gun to S/A.

I've lost count on how many I've installed with hammer and punch. Quality sight pushers are getting much cheaper AND much better in execution.

i got the Lyman sight pusher, from Lyman themselves, it was cheaper than Amazon, and believe me, any of the gun parts websites like MidSouth shooters, Midway, Natchez, etc.etc.

just keep those turn screw threads WELL lubed at all times...!!!
