My decision was based on cost of ammo, very little ammo variety and as stated 5.56 is cheaper and tons of variety in ammo choice between 5.56 and .223. For me I'd rather have a .22 magnum in a handgun. I've had the .22 magnum, damn fine round if used within its parameters AND a ton cheaper.I looked and them a while back and decided to pass "for the time being." Aside from it not being a real popular caliber, what drives your decision to pass? I'm curious for reasons I too should be a hard pass.
In my eyes, the only thing the 5.7 had going was the P90 and the amount of rounds in the magazine onboard.
