yes today is rough day, gets me irritated, pulls my soul and a few other thoughts .

i used to get overwrought picturing people in a plane, going for a ride of death and not being able to stop the ride, that has to be a horrific feeling. i still get wrapped tight now for a few hours or more.

then the folks jumping to their death to escape fire.. the thoughts in the brain to convince you do that are horrific.

i have been in a few scary airplane and helicopter "rides" and yes not being at the controls in an wholly shiiit event is a mind altering experience , nothing prepares a mind for the imminent SMACK into the ground .
luckily my smacks into the ground just bruised us, pissed us off and cost the navy an aircraft.

but being in a large aircraft at speed hurtling to the ground and knowing the end is HERE is a hard thing to cope and absorb

the first responders that valiantly stormed up stairs to get to survivors only to be caught in the collapse.. that to is a horrific thought to occupy a sane mind.

its partly know why i wont fly unless i am the nut behind the stick, same with driving or riding in a vehicle ... i cannot stand being a passenger, it simply over takes my calm sense of things ..
i know that may be nuts, but yes it can be.
i pray for the lost souls, and damaged people.

How many of you ever stood in the lobby of the Twin Towers? Remarkably they stood steadfast when those terrorists tried to bring them done when they set-off bombs in the basement years earlier.
Went thru the Twin towers, Empire State Building and some other buildings going to corp meetings a long time ago at our N America HQ at the Plaza of the Americas in NYC
