9 Best Concealed Carry Revolvers For Personal Defense (2021)

It's nice to see the Charter Arms Bulldog getting some attention from gun writers.
(y) I've owned a number of C.A. over the years and liked everyone. The only trouble I ever had was someone always wanted them more than I did.

THIS! Almost concealed hammer with the ability to use SA on those rare occasions one finds it necessary. Say, popping a partridge for supper;). If you have a full-sized spare tire and wear you snubby on your belt, the hammer don't eat at your side. :D AND humpbacks are just cooler:ROFLMAO:

The S&W Bodyguard is a great choice for pocket carry, and sometimes in the heat/humidity of Missouri that is all I can manage. So it or a old Colt Cobra gets the nod. The sights are much thicker on the Colt, at least before they went to the shrouded barrel, and my old eyes appreciate that. But the Smithy offers a snag-proof draw. Always trade offs.....

For those who belt carry, try the three inch over the two in Chief's Special. The sights are MUCH better, thicker and easier to see and the ejector rod is longer. Critical when reloading. You will notice the three inch is harder to pocket carry, but if you are a belt carry guy you are missing the boat without the three inch at your side. Also, some prefer the square butt and it is practically as easy to hide as the round butt, which I can't say about the K Frame. Round butt K frames hide much easier in my experience.

Your mileage may vary, but if you are belt carrying a J Frame you are missing the boat if it is not a three inch.
