ABC suspends Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night show

I'd rather they just stay off the topic of politics although, but the truth is that in modern society with endless choices, people choose to watch talk shows and media that aligns with their views, tells them what they want to hear, and demonizes those who have different options.... The right side of the aisle is just as guilty as the left in that respect....

Outside of that, my favorite talk show host was Craig Ferguson, but he wasn't politically correct enough for networks or the outrage culture we currently live in.
 
Back in the day JK was the co-host of "The Man Show".

Truth is, he was talking out of his ACE about the assassination of someone with whom he disagreed. Making light of the fact that the world just watched this man's life literally drain out of a hole in his neck at the will of some twisted freak, all the while injecting his personal theory of the "who" and "why ". All based on the belief that he, and most other celebrities have some kind of Superior knowledge over the average man. As far as I am concerned he and Mr. Cobert can both go down the drain and rest among the septic tank turds where they belong.

Yup, it's funny how they were all for cancel culture, censorship, and anti-free speech (AKA hate speech) from 2016 to 2024 when it was conservatives who couldn't post anything on social media without being suspended or banned.

  1. When they were being fired left and right for their conservative views. When news anchors and TV shows were being cancelled.
  2. When a mainstream newspaper and other reporters had their accounts suspended for posting a truthful story about a laptop.
  3. When the president of the United States had all of his social media accounts across platforms banned for telling people to protest peacefully and not wanting to attend the inauguration.

They used to say that free speech isn't hate speech. That conservatives had the freedom to say it, but not freedom from the consequences of saying it. Then they would point out that freedom of speech only applies to the government.... Fast forward to after the assassination, and now we have come full circle to them basically using the same exact arguments that conservatives were using when we were the victims of cancel culture. They don't like it when the shoe is on the other foot. The hypocrisy of it all!
 
A television camera is alot like a computer. They both allow people to say things they would never say to someone face to face. It allows the speach, but eliminates the swift and usually earned consequence that follows. Dude is a wussy with a capital p.

I had forgotten about Craig Ferguson. He was a favorite of mine BECAUSE he wasn't politically correct..
 
Disney and Nexstar have released a statement saying that they canned Kimmel Before they ever heard from the FCC.
Sinclair says they might take him back if he makes a public apology and a "meaningful" donation to Turning Point.

Funny how most of his type hates their own country (America) and rave about how all these other countries are better in comparison. For some strange reason almost none of them never leave though. I just don't get it????

If any American went to any other country in the world and burned their flag while waving the American flag on their land, we'd be lucky to make it out alive. The country would definitely kick us out. Only in America do half the citizens not only hate their own country, but cheer as they watch invaders burn their flag while waving the flag of the country they fled from.
 
NOT canceled SUSPENDED. Hope you know the difference.
According to ABC they are in the middle of a power grab to get most stations to join them.
Removing Kimmel made a lot of them happy.
After the dirty deed is done, he will return.
