It's a decent idea but terrible execution with a sale price slightly under a brand new G44.

I'm a big fan of .22 understudies--or at least, I was when .22 ammo could still be had for @ 2c a shot. (These days I'm moving towards airguns, but there aren't that many suitable substitutes.)

Here are a few of my .22 understudy handguns--some dedicated, some are conversions. All are about as close as you can get in .22LR.
