No, he is just another useful idiot. Once they get their use out of him, he will just be another effing idiot, and kicked to the curb.

Yes and no. While it is still reasonably fresh in their minds and still in the news, they will use him to their advantage. But once it becomes old news or longer useful to the cause, his plight will just be thrown onto the refuse pile of history.
