Hmmm…I’m thinking that what a wonderful way for ammunition makers to raise prices without question - AMMO SHORTAGE!!!!
I suspect there may actually may be an INCREASED DEMAND for some calibers used in conflicts…then again, I also suspect companies know how to ramp up during times of INCREASED DEMAND…unless, of course, they want to play the AMMO SHORTAGE card and raise prices.
Shrug - over the years, I’ve had a few guns that used ammo that was considered “boutique” anyway, and therefore always expensive.
When I have to pay as much for a .45 or 9mm round as I do for a .32 H&R Magnum, I “might” become concerned. But I’ll probably just pay it as I know shooting is an expensive hobby!
