Are You Part of the EDC 1%?

i get you are new here. go back and read about 2000 pages over the last couple years to see where I train with high level professionals locally and guide for hogs. I've been thru force on force long ago. I'm used to having 4 legged animals that want to harm me keep me on my toes. I have no desire to get into a gun fight. period.
those that are in the line of work to be shot at, good for you. appreciate what you do. not my desire.
I seek out instruction to be better at what I love. Firearms. I was a local PD officer ever so briefly before I kept my current career for 35 yrs. I just dont static shoot.

Is the goal when you shoot to be a bad shot and have a target that looks like a shotgun went off? cause if that's the case like everyone else I see at the range, I guess i'm doing it wrong.
FIRST: I meant no disrespect nor did I mean to suggest that you dont have training. When I suggested Force on Force training, my meaning was that paper targets and competitions dont produce the same stress as incoming rounds. Ive been charged by Wart Hog, Wild Boar and had a Lion get close, though admittedly not a full charge; but more exciting than at the range for me at least.

Ive seen match quality shooters forget all the skills they won matches with after getting smacked with few Sim rounds. It all changes when rounds are incoming. None of what Im suggesting is a distraction from your skills

On a side note, where do you guide for Hogs. Im always looking for another good Hog hunt

No, I am not part of the 1%. Just an average Joe enjoying life as a spouse and a son, father, grandfather, uncle, brother.
I am also an avid shooter, enthusiast, I have never served as a soldier or L E O, (thank you to those of you who have and are currently serving). I carry daily for the last 7 or 8 years. I shoot 10 or so of my defensive rounds through my edc of choice about every 2 or 3 weeks.
I also shoot a bunch of rounds through my 2011 fun guns per month and dont suck at that. Over 12k rounds through XC in last 14 months and another 6k thruogh the xl and prodigy combined. I enjoy shooting paper as well as steel, granted they do not shoot back. Haven't killed a living target with a firearm in over 20 years.
My point is, I do not live my life as if everyone is out to kill me. I do not worry if my ammo will defeat body armor or if one pocket knife is enough. I will do what I can to defend my family and myself to the best of my ability.
If I fail, I am MORE than sure that my family as well as myself will be greeted with the fullest extent of our Lord Jesus Christ' love at the gates of heaven.

TRUTH!
