ATF’s Hidden Gun Registry: How a ‘Tracing System’ Became a Billion-Record Database

They know what car I drive too...and what meds I take...how im registered to vote

I see your point, so please lets not argue about it. Its just that Im more worried about WHO we are selling guns to and WHO they really are, since we'll sell guns to non citizens and dont require any ID to get an ID--thats what really scare me

Nothing different than everything else in life that someone keeps a record on us.

This site keeps a record of all postings.

Wonder why you get emails from sites you never have visited? The internet keeps a record.

Wonder why a website you've looked at an item for possible buy, then they send you an email wanting you to look at it again? They keep a record of it.

Your bank keeps a record of your fiscal activities, as does the CC companies do on all your purchases with their card.

No wonder they need new & many data centers, since they've run out of space the old fashioned way...

Those Private “No paperwork “ sales could come back to bite you in the rear.
I do a bill of sale on any guns I buy or sell privately. I think its a good idea to keep track of where they came from or where they went. But unless somebody comes knocking on my door with a warrant, nobody will ever see it but me. ;)
