Ayoob: Why I Don’t Want a Custom 1911

And no radio in my Cobra!

I’ll pass on 2/3 of that list. SA is ok, Glock is just the same thing across the board including the grip angle, and SIG needs to get rid of its CEO due to the current situation. At least S&W does a better Glock than Glock does.
You keep talking up M&P’s, nothing wrong with any Sig 320, btw, S&W can’t do anything better then other manufacturers, unless your referring to there poor quality control with there newer productions and CS, but I’ll take any Glock pistol over them, they work for me, always goes bang, reliable, if you want a pretty gun, get a 1911…….😬

Not exactly my music of choice, but probably something loud. Kashmir? Voodoo Child? For Whom the Bell Tolls? In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida?

Much prefer the purr of the V-8 to heavy bass!

Or if you referring to the Geo Metro, not sure the chassis bolts would withstand heavy bass for more than a mile or two…
I can live with Jimy anytime!!! But Led Zeppelin I've never gotten used to the shrieking vocals. too bad because the drum bass and guitar are awesome. I might use an AI program to remove vocals

Carry guns are a personal choice. Most LEO's will never fire their handgun in combat. The chances that we as civilians will ever fire it in anger are infinitesimally small. But if you do need to use it in combat, you need it very badly, and it needs to work with speed, power, and accuracy. If you can do that best with a custom premium pistol, or a stock Plain Jane, then it makes sense to use one that works best for you. I carry a particular $2k pistol because I am confident it will provide me speed, power, and accuracy when I need it most. The thought that it might end up in an evidence room doesn't enter my thinking. If I am justified and not charged or am exonerated Florida law says LE has to give it back to me. If I am charged with an unjustified shooting, well, I have much bigger problems.

Yes sir
Agree 100%

Not a 1911 guy. I just never got into them or .45 ACP. I had one once but not anymore. The only .45s I own are a Ruger P345 and a Glock 21 SF. Now I do like my SA-35, probably the closest thing I own to a 1911.

Actually have a few 1911’s. Thanks for asking. I at least know they won’t have an accidental discharge.
