Yeah, most places here use electronic devices. I hate them.
I'd prefer paper
It’s nice to look over before hand it back.

????????????????????????????????????????Actually, even though you fill out the 4473 form online, your shop still prints out a hard copy for there records…..my one shop uses iPads for there’s.
Well just remember the paper version has your your fingerprints and DNA. If that matters to you (mostly sarcasm but true)I prefer paper myself for different reasons I won’t post on this forum. I will do the electronic version but just seems like an inconvenience. I understand it speeds it up and helps with the ATF.
If youre asking why they print it out, its for the ATF to check and as a hard copy back up????????????????????????????????????????
no..i was pointing out his spelling errors.....If youre asking why they print it out, its for the ATF to check and as a hard copy back up
My LGS has entered the 21st Century. I hand over my DL and CWFL, I hit the keys on the IPAD and am done in a couple minutes. I have not spent more than 30 minutes buying a gun portal to portal in several years.
Remember its NOT just your name and address. You are ALSO answering questions about your legal history that might have changed since your last purchase. You fill out the form under penalty of perjury. Is it really that hard? I think theres more BS to ***** aboutOne would think, here in the 21st century, that for repeat customers with their CCW permits, the electronic forms (4473) would be filled out automatically and all you'd need is a signature on the receipt. Wham, bam, thank you ma'am.
I'm old, sometimes my hands shake. I also have problems with being able to use touch screens because of excessive dryness in my hands from chemical burnsWhy the hate? What don’t you like?
We have customers like you, if they ask, we type for them and just have them review and sign. Also we use a regular desk top computer with a regular keyboard, not a IpadI'm old, sometimes my hands shake.
