Setting , the 1950's shortly after the Texas Rangers were administratively placed under DPS . A grizzled Old School Ranger was qualifying with group of Troopers for the first time .

His 1911 was on half cock , with leather thong holding down grip safety , stuck in his waistband .

There’s so many adds for different manufacturers out there and especially with FB & YT. I almost got kicked off of FB for bitching at one point about a 1911 not “cocked and locked”. Yes some dumb dumb reported me for it and was placed on probation for it.
