When I lived there we would pay a $1 fee for an "eligibility" check just to buy a few boxes of ammo. The sales clerk actually called it a background check. Has that fee also gone up to $5? I wouldn't be surprised. Plus, any online order has to be shipped to an FFL to complete the transfer. Phooey.
