Bucket List/Holy Grail Acquired!!!!!!

It's been #1 on the list ever since I laid eyes on one a few years ago. It was hilariously out of my price range back then so it was always a pipe dream. There were still some casualties suffered in order to acquire this. Typically I don't sell guns, but two had to go in order to make this just a bit more palatable. (It really didn't, but I convinced myself it would hurt the wallet less.)

Ladies & Gentlemen, may I introduce you to my Nighthawk Customs Sandhawk. The wait for these are like two years, and I have a hard time plunking down that kind of cash and getting nothing for two years so it was never something I entertained. I had just come back from the Scheels grand opening in Cedar Park and decided to hit up the local gun show that was going on the same day as well.

Didn't see much that caught my eye so I decided to do one more lap and then leave and I happened upon an older gentleman who was coming in a bit late and had just set up his table. And there it was in a glass case at the end of his display tables. Rapped with the guy for a bit and started poking around on price to see if he was flexible and he was. Told him I would need to see about moving a gun or two to seriously get into it and he said no problem, he would honor the agreed upon price which was a significant discount to his original asking price.

I Went home and sat on it for a bit. Went back the next day with the two guns I decided had to go and was able to move them for what I was asking. Alas the SIG556 Swat Patrol I had recently acquired, and my P226 X5 Reserve fell victim the Sandhawk's wiles. Couple that with the fact it's my birthday on Labor Day this year, I decided to treat myself. Taking it out to the range this weekend.

Thank you for entertaining my rambling. I've not been this excited about a firearm in awhile now.
