Can you dry fire too much?

None here, snap caps or nothing. Metal fatigue will happen without notice.
The Army guys above get their parts for free. They can breakem all the want.
I have one handgun, and it will stay in pristine order until it is needed.
 
I know I’m an old guy, but playing pretend with a firearm seems like a bad idea. Yes, I “have” taught people to master trigger control through dry firing, but I do not like the practice. I was always taught to NEVER point a firearm at anything you’re not willing to destroy. I still believe my old Dad’s guidance was sound, safe practice.
