Carrying while fat (how do you do this comfortably?!)

I have an Alein Gear seat holster set up in my truck. I have shells for my SA XDs .45, my Hellcat RDP, my HK VP9SK, and now set up for my current EDC, a J-Frame S&W .357. I carry my J-frame in a sticky holster in my shorts pocket, and once inside my truck, pull my sticky holster from my pocket and put the pistol in the seat holster. Reverse procedure for when I get to my destination. The seat holster can be used as a paddle holster also, but I just leave it in place, as I carry with a sticky holster in my pocket. The seat holster has adjustable retention, so the pistol is not going to fly out in an accident. I can do the holster transfer inside my truck, without anyone seeing what I am doing. The one thing I don't know is if Alein Gear still sells the seat holsters anymore. This older picture is with my Hellcat.View attachment 98055
Ok, good stuff. Was not aware of this set-up, appears to fit between your legs. Good idea. Thanks for the info!

A friend of mine is on one of those drugs. He has lost about 75 lbs. But his BMI (Body Mass Index) showed that he was considered obese. While he is not a diabetic, his doctor felt his weight might be considered life threating. You and your doctor should discuss it about your case. If you are a small guy, 30 lbs. over might consider you obese. If you are a big, tall guy, 30 lbs. just might mean you are a little chubby. Find out what your ideal weight should be for your age and height and figure out what your BMI is.
I'm 5'11" 250lbs. (obese) :>(

To hell with the style of holsters...the bigger question is how did you go about losing the weight? I could stand to drop 30lbs.

(Having recently lost 30 some Lb )

It's simple ( which isn't necessarily same as easy ) .

Reduce , as in close to eliminate , Carbs . Keep general track of Cals .

Intermittent isn't enough by itself , but if you combine with above , it's extra boost .

I have done low carb and ended up gaining it all back immediately. I was going to build muscle mass so my body naturally burns more calories. That worked for longer before.

I intend to lose weight, but how do y’all carry with a muffin top? I’m quite uncomfortable carrying, even with a quality holster, as the leather and grip rub against my skin and press in deep. Maybe over the winter I can lose some weight and for the meantime carry a revolver in a shoulder holster?
I carry in a paddle holster it's hard during the summer but /shrug it is what it is. IWB is brutal for us fatties. maybe try a belly band.
