Okay, if we're talking air guns, I had the Sheridan too! Got that around age 11 or 12. 1965-ish. 10 pumps maxed it out.Sheridan Blue Streak pump pellet gun, purchased new circa 1975-ish. Killed many-a-squirrel. My dad still has the thing 50-years later...seals are all bad...not sure if it's worth repairing.
Yes, I kept the Marlin 336 CB in 30-30 with 24" barrel. Think I paid close to $400 for it. I understand they are pretty hard to find the days...Did you keep yours? That gun was a squirrel's nemesis!
Right before I joined the Navy, I gave that gun to the young neighbor boy who had recently lost his dad to a heart attack in his late 30s. That's the only gun I feel good about losing.
