Colt "Grizzly"

Phaser

Operator
For those of you who own this weapon what are your thoughts on overall performance. I bought my Python prior to knowing anything about this revolver. I really like the looks...but that's where it stops at the moment.
So, any and all feedback would be appreciated.

well if nothing else, at least it has a rubber grip.

my Python had wood grips and the trigger guard dug deep into my finger..

i ever tried wearing a glove as some here suggested.........no improvement.

Don't own, but more info here...

Oversimplified: It's a King Cobra , with a Python barell . ( In turn , the King Cobra was Colt's next step evolution of the Trooper Mk lll action )

Do you Like the looks and balance of Python Bbl ? No shame , lots of people do .

If l wanted a " using gun " with Python -esque vibe , l'd rather have this , than the current Fake Python .

I own a new version Python spent additional money to have the action reworked. The large serrations on the trigger face have allot to be desired. I wear shooters gloves when running through a box of ammo. FYI, Mag-Na-Port offers their services to remove the serrations w/o affecting the overall integrity...I chose not to do that. In addition, as many on here are already aware the porting they offer is top-notch and I seriously thought about having my gun ported, but don't like the hassle of the federal mandates in shipping so I digress.

I’ve fooled around with gun shops/shows/etc since the Very early 70’s and never ever saw or even Heard of either of these.😳. Seen plenty of Anaconda’s, Python’s and Cobra’s, but never a Bear

I’ve read that it’s actually a Python frame, but who can you believe? One would have to measure it to really get a handle on that.

I’m intrigued by both of these “Bears,” but I could do without the porting. Had for me to justify dumping my current 44s, or any of my 357s just to add one, but time will tell if I do so.

These may in fact be fewer in production numbers than the Python or Anaconda, but again, who really knows.

Sure, other than the ported barrel and unfluted cylinder there isn't that much separation from the Snake guns.
