well if nothing else, at least it has a rubber grip. For those of you who own this weapon what are your thoughts on overall performance. I bought my Python prior to knowing anything about this revolver. I really like the looks...but that's where it stops at the moment.
So, any and all feedback would be appreciated.
I own a new version Python spent additional money to have the action reworked. The large serrations on the trigger face have allot to be desired. I wear shooters gloves when running through a box of ammo. FYI, Mag-Na-Port offers their services to remove the serrations w/o affecting the overall integrity...I chose not to do that. In addition, as many on here are already aware the porting they offer is top-notch and I seriously thought about having my gun ported, but don't like the hassle of the federal mandates in shipping so I digress.well if nothing else, at least it has a rubber grip.
my Python had wood grips and the trigger guard dug deep into my finger..
i ever tried wearing a glove as some here suggested.........no improvement.
I’ve read that it’s actually a Python frame, but who can you believe? One would have to measure it to really get a handle on that.Oversimplified: It's a King Cobra , with a Python barell . ( In turn , the King Cobra was Colt's next step evolution of the Trooper Mk lll action )
Do you Like the looks and balance of Python Bbl ? No shame , lots of people do .
If l wanted a " using gun " with Python -esque vibe , l'd rather have this , than the current Fake Python .
