Competition pistol for small hands?

That post is about 2 yrs old now… i’m guessing he made a choice by now.

Trying out thinner grips and short-reach triggers helped my kid a lot before we committed to a new gun, so borrowing different setups can save some headaches. I also messed around with training pistols from https://www.bespokeairsoft.co.uk/ to let her practice grip and transitions without recoil pressure, which made it easier to figure out what frame size actually felt right once we moved back to 9mm.

IMHO Reliability is #1, accuracy #2 and price a distant third. Years ago I bought a new SD pistol that was at the time THE most expensive pistol I’d ever owned. It looked good and was very accurate BUT in 400 round (and 2 trip back to the Mfgr it never ran through two 7 round mags without an ftf or fte. Liked to stovepipe rounds. I traded it for a much cheaper SIG 938 that has to date never had a malfunction and has ate hundreds of rounds of my reloads and additional hundreds of factory rounds. Total count is above 1400. In this case “Price” and “Quality” were NOT the same.
