COVID vaccines

I got the second Moderna dose yesterday. Holy Hannah the side effects hit me hard. My infectious disease specialist friend says that means a robust immune response, though, so I'll deal with them happily.

My wife had her second shot awhile back. She has the countdown to the minute when she is fully " Vaccinated" and will be bee-lining to her elderly Aunt Annie's house in Fredericktown and one of her sick, elderly family friends.

Itll be nice to be more able to see grandparents and elderly family, no mistake.
I'll tell you what I told my wife. These vaccines are still a gamble. So don't think you should just be all kissing all over gramma. Wear a mask and limit contact. My wife has been avoiding people for months as it is. Me, I have been avoiding them for several decades. ;-)

Got my second Pfizer dose last week; aside from feeling a bit run down & tired the next day, nothing too bad...

And my 5G reception is great now.

Got my second Pfizer 9 days ago & will have the 2 week period done by this Friday.

Didn't have any aftereffects from either shot.

None of the vaccines are 100% effective, and one can still come down with the bug albeit with less effects if one does come down with it.

This will just be like the flu, a shot each year.
