I seen three of em this morning, now it was 14 degrees, about six to eight inches of ice and snow on the streets, seen three trucks pulling fishin boats. Yep, those fellers need to be in straight jackets.

bass nuts are out there...maybe not all day
but they are tossing a line
i wanted to go to the big ramp and watch the frozen dead come back to port, but our street is waaaay to slick to even try and drive

I live on the Tennessee River in North Alabama and fished year round in my younger days. I can tell you firsthand that the winter months holds some of the best fishing you can get.

They probably have some little propane heaters ... you know, set up next the the gas tank.

We do ice fishing up here. You have a little shack (or if you’re a little wealthier, one of those fancy schmancy ice fishing RV things). Some of the best fish come out of the bottom of the lakes up here in the winter.
